Weather man, Michael Fish, BBC TV, 1975.
Scarfolk is a town in North West England that did not progress beyond 1979. Instead, the entire decade of the 1970s loops ad infinitum. Here in Scarfolk, pagan rituals blend seamlessly with science; hauntology is a compulsory subject at school, and everyone must be in bed by 8pm because they are perpetually running a slight fever. "Visit Scarfolk today. Our number one priority is keeping rabies at bay." For more information please reread.
I knew “Michael Fish” in ’73 when we both lived in a religious commune based in the heart of rural East Anglia. He was still a practising shamen in those days, rarely wore any clothes, and most of the 40 or so kids running round the place were his!

DeleteAs I kid, I remember Michael Fish!
ReplyDeleteHe always had the most accurate weather forecasts.
Probably was doing rain dances and other weather control trickery.
